* 1 1/2 oz DonQ Cristal
* 1 oz blackberry infused simple syrup (see recipe below)
* 1 1/2 oz of lime juice
* 5 crushed mint leaves
* Crush mint leaves with simple syrup. Add rum and lime juice, shake well. Pour over ice in a tall glass, add a splash of club soda, and garnish with a blackberry and mint.
Blackberry Infused Simple Syrup
* 2 cups sugar
* 1 cup water
* 8 to 10 fresh blackberries
* Bring water to a boil, add sugar, stir until dissolved. Add blackberries and boil, stirring occasional until syrup consistency is reached. Smash blackberries and drain to avoid seeds.
